India ‘s continued dominance in the IT-BPO sector as a preferred outsourcing destination ,will be fuelling direct employment growth for about 2.5 million professionals by 2011. However, the shortage of skilled knowledge workers continue to be a challenge . The Industry is focussed to close this gap with the combined effort of all concerned- Government bodies, Corporate and Educational Institutions.

Independent and small scale organizations are encouraged to join hands in addressing this prominent issue of ‘employability skills gap’.

NACS- A Unique Initiative

Nalandha Academy Of Career Services- An institute started by experienced IT Professionals has designed a unique program which addresses the ‘employability skills gap” very comprehensively. The program i-2-I (Institute to Industry Transition ) , is the result of meeting of experienced brains in IT industry to arrive at holistic, yet practical course which will help the participants (fresh engineering graduates) to get “on the job” experience , even before “getting a job”.
